We are offer a unique training for professionals and laypeople alike to teach you to help, promote healing and share the hurt of those who receive an adverse diagnosis for their unborn child. Sound Journeys offers our resources as a tool to help support each family in need.
All Sound Journeys volunteers will be offered training in a comprehensive approach to caring for families whose babies die during pregnancy or shortly after birth. The program, known as Resolve Through Sharing, is unique in health care, teaching professionals and laypersons alike to be trained to meet the exceptional needs of families in this health crisis. It is recognized as the gold standard in the medical and counseling field for this type of work.
If you are talented and skilled in making items, we would graciously accept donations of any of the following items or items similar to these.
- Smocked infant gowns, preemie and new born sizes
- Hand-sewn lace handkerchiefs
- Knitted or crocheted blankets, hats, gowns, or booties
- Photography
- Scrap booking, stamping
- Hand made sympathy cards
- Jewelry making; bracelets, bookmarks, charms, etc.
- Photo albums (4×6) size for ultrasound pictures.
