Sound Journeys Perinatal Hospice exists to provide hope and support to families who receive a life-threatening diagnosis for their unborn child. We do this by connecting them with comprehensive community-based medical, counseling and practical support and through the love of Jesus Christ.

We offer a unique training for professionals and laypeople alike to teach you to help, promote healing and share the hurt of those who receive an adverse diagnosis for their unborn child. This training is focused on the skills necessary for those who will work directly with the families. We provide bereavement and end of life education for all volunteers who participate as a Patient Advocate. A Patient Advocate is someone who counsels with each family and addresses their individual needs as the family experiences their journey of loss.

If working directly with patients is not within your comfort level, there are other opportunities to volunteer. We also need data entry clerks to enter patient information into our computer system, computer skills are required.

If you are interested becoming a volunteer, please email us at info@perinatal-hospice.org or call 706-304-5029.
